The events of my life are really quite inconsequential… A Boson native, I grew up listening to ‘ZLX. After realizing radio was my calling I was lucky enough to land a morning show internship here which led to various jobs around the station. When not on the air, one of the things I do is produce “Breakfast with The Beatles” with Chachi. Let me tell you, if the Beatles had to look at Chachi every Saturday morning at 8, they would have broken up a lot sooner. When not playing with high voltage radio equipment, I watch too may movies and star in Hamlet, off Broadway. Alright, the last part is a lie, I don’t look good in tights.
Q & A with Mike Pelosi
1. Name your favorite TV shows or movies I’m not proud that I schedule my life around re-runs of Seinfeld, or that I can’t go near a boat without quoting Jaws in its entirety…
2. If What five CDs would you take with you if you were going to be stranded on a desert island? 1. The Who – Quadrophenia 2. Deep Purple – Made in Japan 3. Pink Floyd – Meddle 4. Derek & The Dominos – Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs 5. The Beatles – Revolver
3. What is your most memorable concert experience? Robert Plant opening for The Who at the Tweeter Center in 2002. Hands down the best show I’ve seen. Say what you want about them, but The Who can still bring it to the table. Three days of that annoying ringing in my ears was well worth it.
4. If you weren’t in radio what would you be doing? Probably marketing my new invention “Soup in a Tube” door to door. It’s better I’m locked in a studio, trust me.
5. What was your first job in radio? You’re looking at it.
