WZLX is about to rock the art world with the “
WZLX Classic Rock Art Show”, September 18th – September 21st, 2008 at Jordan’s Furniture, 50 Walker’s Brook Drive in Reading, MA.
The “WZLX Classic Rock Art Show” is a rare collection of original art, lithographs, photographs, handwritten song lyrics, concert posters, gold records, album art and more from the greatest classic rock artists of all time. The show is free and open Sept. 18th-20th from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m, and Sunday, September 21st from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. All works are available to purchase. Prices range for $10 to $6,000 with 10% of the proceeds to go to MARE, The Mass Adoption Resource Exchange.
The art show will showcase an amazing collection of works featuring classic artists such as
Paul McCartney, AC/DC,
Jerry Garcia, John Entwistle (The Who),
Jimi Hendrix, Ron Wood (Rolling Stones),
Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana, David Bowie, Robby Krieger (The Doors),
Jon Anderson (Yes),
John Lennon, Ringo Starr, U2, John Mellencamp, and dozens more plus rock photographs from sessions including
Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
“The 100.7 WZLX Classic Rock Art Show” is the largest exhibit of its kind in the world and it’s only at Jordan’s Furniture in Reading for 4 days only.
