Taking people home for the past 15 years on WZLX in which time I’ve run 8 Boston Marathons, carried the Olympic Torch up Boylston St., lost on Hollywood Squares in spectacular fashion on an easy Star Trek question, Broadcast live from the Grammys, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, hundreds of bars around Boston with Chuck’s Bar and Grill, interviewed bands from Aerosmith to ZZ Top, attended the last game at the REAL Boston Garden between the Bruins and the Canadians, met thousands of ZLX listeners all over New England and played 782,426 requests for the ride home with the Attitude Adjustment Hour.

1. What are your favorite movies or TV shows?
Sopranos, Deadwood, Nurses with Impure Thoughts—I mean The Sixth Sense, Raging Bull
2. Boxers or briefs?
A used 7 Eleven Big Gulp with the taint of Mountain Dew still in it.
3. What What would your advice be for someone who wants to get into radio?
. Buy the 5 CD set “Chuck Nowlin’s Radio Primer,? including, “The Intern 10 Commandments? 1. Get coffee for DJ 2. Vacuum DJ’s car 3. Never make direct eye contact with DJ, etc. PLUS “How to throw a hissy fit when the station vending machine is out of Andy Camp Pub Fries.? And the classic “I’m exhausted-I worked 5 hours today!?
4. What do you do when you’re not at ZLX?
Walk around the neighborhood in an open bathrobe yelling at kids who hit their waffle ball into my yard.
5. What’s the worst thing that ever happened to you while you were on the air?
I had a “vurp,? (that little burp that brings up a little lunch with it), during an interview with Jimmy Buffet, which I breathed on him. I think he cancelled the show that night.
