David Bowie's Widow Calls Relationship Her 'Favorite Love Story'

Bowie and Iman

Just two days after celebrating his 69th birthday, the music world mourned the shocking loss of David Bowie on January 10th, 2016. One of the preeminent creative forces in the industry for nearly 50 years, Bowie's death left a sonic hole in the landscape that has yet to be filled.

In the years since, Bowie's widow, Iman, has taken to social media to share rare pictures of the legend. The former supermodel married Bowie, born David Robert Jones, in 1992 and the pair has one daughter together, 17-year-old Alexandria "Lexi" Zahra. Bowie's only other child, Duncan Jones (42), is from his first marriage to Angela Bowie.

Yesterday, Iman shared four black-and-white photos of the loving couple, writing "My favorite love story is ours! #BowieForever #ForeverAndEver"

Today, on the two year anniversary of his passing, Iman shared the tattoos that she and daughter Alexandria got in honor of their fallen husband and father.

"You will always be part of us," she wrote. "Jan 10th #BowieForever #EverAndEver"
